Sanma-shio-yaki with oatmeal



















Sanma = Pacific saury(fish)
shio = salt
yaki = roast
Then to cook the Sanma-shio-yaki, add bit amount of salt on both surface of sanma, and leave two minutes before roast it above fire or hot coals. It takes about ten minutes to get ready to eat.

- main dish
  sanma shio-yaki
  grated daikon(Japanese radish) - good for stomach
  soy sauce

- spinach goma-ae
  boiled spinach
  roasted sesame seeds
  soy sause
  suger

- miso soup
  miso
  wakame
  egg
  dashi(stock made of fish or kombu)

- oatmeal

Autumn is a good season to eat sanma. Many Japanese people have sanma when Autumn has come. A town in Tokyo even have a festival for celebration of sanma fish.
